Test the claim.

Machine Nerve records the person and the machine on one clock in a race car. Brands that make performance claims get data for research and a fair test for those claims.

Research

Research direction. No product effect has been measured or claimed. A qualified research partner owns each study.

Las Vegas.

Why a race car.

Few tests put a person under real load and measure the outcome on every lap.

A race car combines heat, g-force, long stints and decisions at speed. Machine Nerve records the person and the machine on one clock, lap after lap. Supplement, nutrition and wearable companies get data for research and a fair test for their claims.

A hard, repeatable task.

Heat, g-force and long stints, repeated lap after lap on the same track.

Outcomes the machine measures.

Lap time, consistency and errors come from telemetry, not a survey.

The person on the same clock.

Heart, HRV, EEG features, eyes and voice, aligned to every input.

The same person over time.

Baselines, training and history across sessions and seasons.

Operators in the loop.

The human, machine and AI teaming that trains a driver also runs a product study.

  • The person

Drives the task and wears the sensors. Follows the protocol.

  • The machine

Records every input and every outcome, lap by lap.

  • Eri, the AI

Reviews every session and proposes the next version. The driver decides.

  • The scientist

Owns the protocol, the endpoints and the conclusion.

A local keyword parser shows the method parts. This is a first draft, not a running method.

From source to session.

Source-agnostic by design. Simulator streams and real-car recordings feed a common performance workflow, during the session and after it.

iRacing

Live relay and file import. Live telemetry, CSV and IBT.

Built paths

Live delivery and recorded-file analysis have different clocks and rates.

Microsoft Flight Simulator

Live adapter and replay. Enabled SimConnect profiles and replay bundles.

Built paths

Flight simulator profiles run the same methods as racing.

MoTeC

File import. i2 CSV exports.

Built CSV path

i2 CSV exports import with their channels and units.

Cosworth

File import. Qualified PDS recordings.

Qualified variants

Direct decoding covers the qualified Porsche and Cosworth layouts.

VBOX

File import. CSV and native VBO.

Built import paths

Channels, timebase and companion video alignment depend on the recording.

AiM

File import. Recognized Race Studio CSV exports.

Built CSV boundary

The CSV adapter keeps the raw source data.

RaceChrono

File import. CSV exports.

Built import path

Column mappings follow the exported recording.

Garage61

File import. CSV exports.

Recorded sessions import for review and trends.

Bosch

Compatibility request. Representative export required.

Not verified

Send a representative export and we qualify the format and channels.

Live sources run methods in the session. Imported files feed review and trends. Each value carries its source, format, version and quality.

Choose the question.

For companies that make performance claims. Each question is an example. The brand and a research partner choose the real one.

Supplements and sports nutrition
Does the product change late-stint errors at comparable pace?
Hydration and cooling
Does it help a driver hold consistency through a hot stint?
Recovery and sleep
Does reported recovery match the next session's performance?
Wearables and sensors
Does a new sensor agree with a chest-strap ECG while driving?
Equipment and apparel
Does a seat, glove or suit change inputs over a long stint?
Training programs
Does the program shorten the time to a skill standard?

How a study runs.

  1. Define the comparison.

Exact product, target user, baseline, comparator and one primary performance question.

  2. Follow the same person.

Repeated comparable sessions, declared training exposure and relevant consented history.

  3. Review the whole result.

Task outcomes first. Physiological associations are context, with source quality, missingness and uncertainty.

  4. Keep the record.

Protocol and analysis revisions, source-linked findings and separately permissioned public case studies.

The company buys a comparison, not a positive conclusion. A qualified research partner, an agreed protocol and appropriate safety and ethics review come before a study.

Capture and method tools exist. Controlled supplement evaluation remains a research direction. Randomization, blinded supply, statistical review and publication rights need a study-specific plan.

Question
Does the exact product change late-stint errors at comparable pace?
Comparison
Repeated baseline and a suitable placebo or active comparator.
Task
A repeatable simulator stint. Car, setup, training and task policy held constant.
Outcome
Prespecified errors per exposure, pace and consistency. Unassisted probes when testing learning.
Context
Quality-eligible physiology, prior training and consented health history.
Result
Positive, null, mixed or inconclusive. Uncertainty and missing data stay visible.

What you keep.

A feasibility report.

Signal yield, task repeatability and cost, before any product is tested.

Private product intelligence.

The comparison, each person's trajectory, the uncertainty and the null results.

A review packet.

Protocol, analysis versions and source-linked data that a reviewer can rerun.

A public case study.

Only with publication rights and claims review. Payment never depends on the result.

The same method transfers to pilots, drone operators and anyone who operates a machine under load.

Physiological signals are context for performance review. They are not diagnoses, emotion detection or fitness-for-duty measures.

Machine Nerve is not a medical device and does not provide clinical diagnosis, treatment, or medical readiness certification.
